Brent has sold two of our homes and helped us buy another. Brent and JoAnn are wonderful to work with and go above and beyond to get your house sold. Brent is dedicated and extremely responsive. Home selling/buying can be very stressful but Brent makes it a much better process.

In February 2018, Brent was my realtor in purchasing a new home and he was terrific. A review of that sale has previously been listed and knowing that I would be selling a home in the following months, I knew Brent would be the one to help me do so. Brent and JoAnn Rice, the Rice Group team at Compass Real Estate, are knowledgeable of the industry and professional in every way. I primarily selected them to represent my home for sale as they had lived in the neighborhood since 2000 when the first homes in the subdivision were built. With participation on the board of directors and experience with the schools which their children attended, and with their extensive knowledge of the subdivision, with its different builders and price points, they were better able to showcase, promote, and defend our home than other agents or brokers.

But, beyond the advantage of subdivision specific knowledge, Brent and Joann went above and beyond to assure the best outcome in the challenging market during the summer of 2023. They held multiple open houses, always bringing treats and water, followed up on leads and kept me advised of market changes and challenges. As my neighbors as well as agents, they provided many other helpful services (which I won’t list as then every client might expect this “beyond the norm” assistance). Brent handled the contract and negotiations professionally as his many years in the Real Estate business reflect, and offered good advice related to repairs and options. I used Brent Rice for the sale of my mother's home. Not only is he a great real estate agent, very knowledgeable about the industry and great communicator, I felt a great deal of trust in him to help me with decisions that arose during the process. He also helped with issues outside of the real estate realm, (moving and finding a place for a washer/dryer, refrigerator the buyers didn't want) that he certainly didn't have to, but was very willing to help. This was one was a hard one for me, my mother had been in her home for over 20 years and we had to move her into a assisted living facility. I needed/hoped this transaction would be smooth and I picked the right agent for it, from market to close.
